“Don’t get me wrong. I’ve written sad and somber songs. However, they are usually followed by a song that offers some resolve, whether emotional, spiritual or the like. That’s why I fell in love with songwriting. The power and presence of music and its ability to change one’s state of mind are unmatched by anything I have ever experienced. That and my faith in the good Lord are where I found my calling.” 

Richard D. F. Williams, R.D. Williams, or “Ardy” Williams is an independent artist. While enjoying the freedom to explore new horizons, this songwriter's message remains grounded in who he is. Faith, community, and good ole’ country loving are a few of his favorite subjects to write about. His creative writing dates to his childhood. However, it wasn’t until 2009 that Ardy began writing to music. Stylistically, Ardy’s approach to songwriting remains open minded with a philosophy to let the song become what it wants to be. Most of which, taking place in a small community located in East Texas, where he calls home.
